The Location User Role

Dealer sales representative or Lot operations staff, who can only initiate ID-Checks in his location and see his IDC list.​

Switching Roles

A Dealership user i.e. Location-Manager, Location-User, Location-Viewer, Location-User-Partner having multiple access/roles, can be switch their roles, like below :

Initiate ID-Check

A Location-User can initiate a respective ID Check (Fast/Full), either from the LHS tab or from the main screen.

There are 2 different modes for delivering the ID Check link :

  1. Generate QR code and a link (a.k.a Onsite)

  2. Send the link directly to the customer's email and phone number (a.k.a Remote)

Initiate a quick ID Check

A new ID check can be initiated using the settings of a previous check, if needed. In this case, the settings from the selected previous check is already pre-filled, allowing the user to initiate a new check real quick. The pre-filled settings can also be updated/edited before initiating the check.

Customer Consent Collection

Upon initiating an ID Check or a quick ID Check, when the customer scans the QR code or opens the ID Check link received in email/SMS, they are redirected to consent collection page.

Customer would have the option to review and update the Given Names (First & Middle Name) and Surname, read/agree to the Terms & Conditions, provide consent and proceed with the ID Check.

Home Tab

A Location-User can have a quick view of the ID Check results from the Home screen tab.

The home screen view also provides a quick and easy way to get check for the Recently Created ID Checks and viewing the detailed results.

By navigating to the Results tab, a Location-User can view all the ID Checks results list that have been performed by him/her at that respective location.

Results color coding :

  • Pass : Check has been completed, results were received and Passed the SCORE Required criteria. Indicated in Green color coding.

  • Fail : Check has been completed, results were received and Failed the SCORE Required criteria or the session has timed out, user abort etc. Indicated in Red color coding.

  • Expired : The generated session link was never used. Links generated will expire after 6 hrs for both Onsite and Remote ID Checks, if unused. Indicated in Red color coding.

  • Pending : Check is in Pending state i.e. (neither Passed, Failed, or Expired) Indicated in Grey color coding.

ID Check Results

The IDV Status and IDV Error columns indicates the session's status/error returned by the IDEMIA platform. A mouse hover on the IDV Error provides the description.

Please refer to the below tables for more information on IDV Status and Errors :

  • STARTED : Session has started.

  • SUCCESS : Session has been completed successfully.

  • FAILURE : Session has not completed successfully. Refer to the error codes table below for more details.

  • ERROR : The session encountered a technical error during the process. Refer to the error codes table below for more details.

  • HEARTBEAT_TIMEOUT : he session timed out. Refer to the error codes table below for more details.

  • NO_ERROR : No error encountered during the session.

  • SESSION_NOT_STARTED : The user did not start the session.

  • SESSION_TIMEOUT : The user dropped off (5 minutes inactivity).

  • UNSUPPORTED_CONFIGURATION : The user's device configuration is not supported (OS, Browser, Camera Resolution).

  • USER_ABORT : The user aborted the process.

  • LOA_NOT_REACHED : Minimum target LOA has not been reached

  • PROCESS_TERMINATION : The session ended by itself as the User reached the maximum number of attempts

  • VCI_ERROR : Technical error during Verifiable Credential Issuance

  • TECHNICAL_ERROR : Technical error during the Identity Proofing Session

  • GENERIC_ERROR : Unexpected error during the Identity Proofing Session

Search, Filters and Results View Customizations

A Search on the results can be performed inputting a free text in the search bar.

Results can be filtered by applying desired filters for the available columns.

Columns can be re-ordered by horizontally dragging them from the Reorder tab.

An user can hide/unhide some columns from the display, based on the preference. Hiding of certain important columns is disabled on purpose to preserve the user experience.

Notes :

  1. The preferences set by the user are not persistent and will be lost upon logout.

Display ID-Check Detailed Results

From the Results list, a Location-Manager can view the details of each ID Check results (by clicking the Customer Name) that have been performed at the Dealership Location i.e. by all dealership location users (all Location-Managers & Location-Users).

The Customer Name is extracted from the IDEMIA results, hence, will only be available if the check has been completed and proof files with all the details was received from IDEMIA.

In the detailed results page, if the provided given names and surnames did matched, it will be indicated as below :

PDF Download/Export of IDC Results

A Location-User can download a copy of the customer's IDC result, by navigating the detailed results section and clicking on the Download Result option. This will export and download the IDC result in a PDF format.

Notes :

  1. To allow the download in a specific location, please ensure the below Download settings in your browser is enable :

If the setting is disabled, the Download automatically happens in the default download directory.
